Private Training
One-on-one unarmed, knife and stick training, built around you.
Group classes are a good place to start. With private training, every session is built around you: your pace, your questions, your goals. You choose how often you train and for how long. We build the program around your goals, your experience and anything your body needs us to work around.
What we can work on
Empty-hand foundations: stance, movement, striking and defending
Clinch work, takedowns and groundwork
Edged-weapon awareness and defense, using inert training knives
Stick and baton work, from drills through controlled sparring
Weapon retention and managing distance
Linking all of it to awareness, decision-making and de-escalation
Who it's for
People who want steady, structured progress, not a one-off class
Anyone with schedule, privacy or physical needs that group classes don't fit
Graduates of our group classes who want to keep building
Couples, friends or family members who want to train together (ask about semi-private sessions)
How it works
1. First session. We talk through your goals and experience, do some light movement, and agree on a plan. Book it on its own at the single-session rate. If you enroll in a program within 14 days, we credit it toward your first payment.
2. Pick a program. Train 1 or 2 hours a week, for 3, 6 or 12 months.
3. Train on a fixed weekly slot. Booked through our scheduling system, with a check-in on your progress every month.
Programs and pricing
Each month includes 4 sessions. Pay in full, or in monthly installments. Select a price to enroll in that program.
1 hour a week
3 months (12 hours): $1,140 paid in full, or $380/mo
6 months (24 hours): $2,160 paid in full, or $360/mo
12 months (48 hours): $4,080 paid in full, or $340/mo
2 hours a week

6 months (48 hours): $4,080 paid in full, or $680/mo
12 months (96 hours): $7,680 paid in full, or $640/mo
Single session: $100 per hour. Book a 1-hour session or a 2-hour session ($200).
Renew early, save more. If you re-enroll before your program ends, your next 3-month program is billed at the 6-month rate.
How to enroll and book
1. Choose and pay. Select the program price above, then choose Add to cart and check out. You can pay in full (a package) or in monthly installments (a subscription). Checkout takes a few minutes and is the same either way.
2. Check your email. You'll get a confirmation with your program details and what to do next.
3. Book your sessions. Use the scheduling link in that email to pick your weekly time. Each session you book uses one from your program, so choose a slot you can keep.
Format
Private, one-on-one sessions of 1 or 2 hours. We provide all training gear, including inert training knives, sticks and protective equipment.
Program policies
Scheduling. Each program runs on a regular weekly time slot that we agree when you enroll. You can move individual sessions through the scheduling system, as long as there's an open slot.
Cancelling a session. If you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before a session, you keep it and we'll book it another time. A cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice, or a no-show, counts as a session used. If we ever have to cancel, we always make it up.
Running late. Sessions finish at the scheduled time, so a late start means a shorter session.
Using your sessions. Your sessions are valid for the length of your program plus a grace period: 30 days for a 3-month program, 60 days for 6 or 12 months. Any sessions left after that expire.
Vacations and breaks. Tell us at least a week ahead and you can pause for up to 2 weeks in each 3-month block. Your end date moves back to match.
Injury or illness. If a medical issue stops you training, we'll pause your program, including any installments, for up to 3 months. Your remaining sessions carry over.
Payment. Programs paid in full are due when you enroll. With monthly installments, the first payment is due at enrollment and the rest bill automatically each month for the length of the program. A program is a commitment for its full term.
Refunds. You get a full refund if you cancel before your first program session. After that, programs aren't refundable, but you can transfer your remaining sessions to someone else. If you're moving away or something else changes, talk to us and we'll work something out.
Health and safety. Before you start, and whenever something changes, tell us about any injuries, health conditions or limitations. Your instructor will adapt or stop any drill when needed. Every student completes our participation waiver when booking. Training is controlled and paced to your level. No live blades or real weapons go on the mat, and you can't train under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We can end a session if someone's conduct is unsafe.
What to bring. Comfortable athletic clothes, water and a mouthguard. Remove rings and watches before training, and keep your nails short.
