Self-Defense Strategy for
Street & Home
Think like a strategist: plan for trouble on the street and at home, before anything gets physical.
Most of what decides how a dangerous moment goes happens before anyone moves: where you are, what you notice, what you've already decided you will and won't do. This classroom session looks at that part of the problem, borrowing from the way military planners think about strategy, reconnaissance and logistics.
What we'll work on:
How stress changes attention, perception and decision-making
Thinking about personal safety as strategy: avoid, prepare, then respond
Habits that make you a less convenient target
How confrontations commonly develop, and where the decision points are
Securing your home, and a plan your household can follow
Building a plan you can rehearse, rather than hoping to improvise
Who it's for:
Anyone who wants to think clearly about personal safety, whether or not they carry
People not ready for, or not interested in, physical training
Graduates of our other classes who want the strategic layer
Format:
Classroom, about 3 hours. No physical contact.
